President announced election of officers for 2023: Bill Ray, President, Lori Morgan, Vice President, Sue Sinor Treasurer.
Treasurer’s report.

Answers to the ritual questions:
- Did anyone Sell? Brad
- Did anyone submit anything? Bill continuing to submit “Murder on Cabot’s Landing” to literary agents.
- Did anyone publish anything? Brad..”Pulp Fiction” 15 stories- Brad signed a copy for Greg
- Did anyone get paid? Bill, royalties for TImekeepers. Brad.
- Any good rejections?
- Did anyone write?
- Everone except Sue wrote. Sue had extenuating circumstances–see GPIC below
- Mike wrote approximately 10,000 words of new material for his proposed book “Animals, Beasts and Cryptids.”
- BIll wrote approximately 18K words on a new novel, “A Shadow in Time.”
- GPIC: literally …. Sue and Brad had a leaking pipe in their 2nd shower. Sue’s office is right next to it so she had to vacate the space while the repairs were done involving tearing out floorboards and replacing plumbing..

Readings at today’s meeting:
- Mike read part 3 (of 4) of my gryphon story “Gate Patrol”.
- Sue read the next part of her vampire story “Across Time”.
- Bill read from the first chapter of his current WIP, ‘Shadows in Time.” describing the main driving force as a Polhem key, invented in the late 1700s. Bill posted on facebook a picture of a Key which uses Elder Futhark letters to transcribe English words, and reads “mysterious” on the shaft and “timekeepers” on the haft.
