The June meeting will be held Friday, July 8, at John Berry’s home in Owasso. Directions are below. As usual, please arrive at about 7PM. There will be a brief business meeting starting at 7:30. We presently anticipate no reports of activity for the business meeting. If you have business you would like us to consider, please contact one of the officers.
The business meeting ends with the ritual questions: Did you sell anything? Publish? Get paid? Submit? Get a good Rejection? Write? Have a GPIC-related item or other news? Bring anything to read?
After the business meeting, members will be invited to read from their recent works. In order that as many as possible have an opportunity to share their work, please try to keep your readings to thirty minutes or less. At a normal reading speed, this translates to roughly four thousand words. At most meetings, there is not time for everyone to read, so we try to give priority to those who have gone longest withtout reading.
Refreshments are ongoing during the proceedings. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the refreshments, but no one is required or to do so. The host, as usual, will provide ice, plates, flatware, plastic cups, and napkins.

Going north on Highway 169, take the 86th Street Exit in Owasso.
-Stay right all the way around the loop and go back under the highway.
-Merge left onto 86th Street going west. (You will then pass an auto parts store on the right, a Kum & Go, and a school.)
– Be ready to turn left into a neighborhood at the football field.
-Just past the Golden Biscuit sign on the left, turn left into the Southern Links entrance beside the reddish-brown brick pavilion.
-Take the next right. You will see the golf course pond straight ahead.
-Take the next left.
-John’s house is 3rd on the right.
Going north on Highway 75, take the 86th Street Exit in Owasso.
–Stay right and turn right onto 86th street going east.
-Go 3.6 miles. You will pass a Casey’s on the left and a golf course and big pond on the right.
-Take the next right into the Southern Links entrance beside the reddish-brown brick pavilion.
-Go one tenth of a mile and take the next right. You will see the golf course pond straight ahead.
-Take the next left.
-John’s house is 3rd on the right.
